At goVeliro ("we," "our," or "the Author"), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data within the goVeliro Studio desktop application and our website.
The core functionality of goVeliro Studio is designed to protect your privacy.
Video and Audio Files: All transcription and video processing (using OpenAI Whisper technology) happen locally on your computer.
No Uploads: Your video and audio files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers.
Offline Use: The application can perform its primary functions without an active internet connection (except for initial license validation and optional component downloads).
We only collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our services:
If you voluntarily provide your email address through our "Discount Popup" or newsletter forms:
Data collected: Email address, date, and time of subscription.
Purpose: To send you the promised discount code, exclusive video assets (e.g., Lottie packs), and occasional product updates.
Legal Basis: Your explicit consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
Storage: This data is stored securely on our web server in a protected file. We do not share or sell this list to third parties.
goVeliro Studio uses the Microsoft Store API to manage subscriptions and licenses.
When you check your license or make a purchase, the application communicates with Microsoft’s servers.
We do not see or store your credit card details or personal billing information; these are handled exclusively by Microsoft.
Marketing Data: We keep your email address until you request its deletion or unsubscribe from our list.
Local Files: Any temporary files created during video processing are stored in your system's temporary folder and are deleted when the process is finished or the app is closed.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:
Right of Access: You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you (your email address).
Right to Rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can request that we delete your email address from our database at any time.
Right to Withdraw Consent: You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link or replying to our emails.
Our website and software may interact with the following services:
Microsoft Store: For licensing and payments.
Hugging Face / GitHub: For downloading necessary AI model components (only during setup or updates).
